Spirito della Vite is Tenute Baldo’s Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG, produced in Torgiano, Umbria. The grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected before fermentation, followed by a long maturation that gives the wine its depth and structure.

It spends 24 months in French barriques on the fine lees, then moves to stainless steel before resting for about 12 months in bottle. The profile is rich and layered, with dark plum, wild berries, spice, tobacco and balsamic notes. The palate is full, with firm tannins and a long finish.

Spirito della Vite works especially well with roast meats, game and aged cheeses. It is a good choice for anyone looking for a structured Umbrian red with clear maturity, spice and depth.
