Ràmici by Leonardo Bussoletti shows a more structured side of Ciliegiolo, a red grape grown in central Italy. Dark cherry, earthy spice and balsamic notes lead to a full-bodied palate with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. It pairs particularly well with roast lamb, game and dishes featuring black truffle.

The organic grapes come from mature vines growing on sandy soils near the Tiber River in Umbria, with exceptionally low yields. The wine spends around two years ageing in French oak. Previously known as Vigna Vecchia, it now takes its name from the Ràmici vineyard near Alviano.
