The Cotarella Brut Classic Method is drawn from the hills of Montecchio, where the renowned estate has put its interpretation of winemaking in bubbles to perfectly masterful practice using the Roscetto grape, which is a local grape that best makes its truest representation in the south part of the region adjacent to Lazio. This refined sparkling wine is the finest reflection of regional vinicultural tradition, a blend of vinicultural expertise belonging to the family and the fertility of volcanic soil characteristic of this illustrious region.

Volcanic Terroir and Master Craft

On the volcanic soils of the Montecchio estate, which impart to Roscetto its distinctive minerality, these elegant bubbles are produced. Production follows the Classic Method, with 36 months on lees, so that the wine may acquire the aromatic and structural complexity which will render it a product of unmatched quality. The bubbles thus obtained are characterized by their finesse and tenacity.

Sensory Profile and Typical Mark

The pale straw-yellow with golden tints betrays an refined, noble bouquet of delicate floral nuances, noble yeast aromas, and that characteristic bread-crust smell from extended ageing. On the palate, it finds expression in freshness and structure, fine, persistent bubbles evoking the detailing. The volcanic minerality in the soil is realized in a long, agreeable finish.
