Mater Maris by Argillae is a dry Orvieto DOC white from Umbria, with aromas of yellow flowers, citrus and tropical fruit. Lively acidity balances its rounded texture, while mineral notes and a lingering finish make it particularly enjoyable with baked fish, shellfish or roast chicken.

Half the blend is Grechetto, joined by Procanico, Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc. Each variety is vinified separately in stainless steel before blending, and the wine rests on its fine lees until bottling. This approach gives Mater Maris its balance of freshness and body, making it a versatile Italian white for the table.
