Amdarò is a Torgiano Rosso DOC made by Cantina Daniele Rossi, an Umbrian red built for the table. It has red berry fruit, gentle spice, bright acidity and a savory edge that works well with rich pasta dishes, cured meats, cheeses and roasted or grilled meat.

It pours a deep ruby red. The nose opens with raspberry and wild strawberry, followed by cinnamon, white pepper, light balsamic notes and tobacco. On the palate it is dry and well shaped, with smooth texture, tidy tannins and a clean, balanced close.

Serve at about 18 °C with meat ragù, lasagna, Umbrian cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, red meat or grilled pork.
