Brecciaro by Leonardo Bussoletti is an organic Ciliegiolo from Umbria, with ripe cherry flavours, gentle tannins and a fresh, fruity finish. Its approachable character makes it a good choice for mushroom pasta, roast chicken, Italian cured meats or semi-aged cheeses.

The name comes from a former breccia quarry near Narni, where some of the grapes grow on rocky soil. The rest come from Colle Ozio near San Gemini, on clay-limestone ground. Most of the wine matures in stainless steel, while a smaller portion ages in large French oak casks. Serve at 16-18°C.
