Cicerchie, also known as grass peas, are an ancient legume once common in Umbrian country kitchens. Simple, rustic and nourishing, they return to the table with tomato, vegetables, herbs and a touch of extra virgin olive oil.

This is not mass production. Each jar contains 21% cicerchie, real tomato passata, sautéed celery, carrots and onions, rosemary, marjoram, thyme and a hint of chili pepper. No preservatives. No unnecessary additives.

How to use: warm in a pan and serve as a rich side dish. For a traditional soup, add one cup of water or vegetable broth, heat gently, and finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Ready in about 10 minutes.
