Trentanni means "thirty years" in Italian. Famiglia Cotarella first produced this wine in 2009 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Falesco, founded by brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella in 1979. The wine comes from the Marciliano estate near Orvieto, in Umbria.

Merlot brings ripe fruit and a rounded texture, while Sangiovese adds freshness. Cherry, plum and gentle spice come together in a smooth, balanced red that pairs well with roast meats, slow-cooked beef or pasta with a rich meat sauce.
